Lizzie joined Grosvenor Law in 2023 as an Associate, having worked previously as an Associate at an international US-based firm for their office in the British Virgin Islands. Prior to that, Lizzie was an Associate in the Commercial Litigation team of a national firm. Lizzie’s experience includes a wide range of multi-jurisdictional litigation, including cross-border commercial contractual disputes, digital asset disputes and liquidation and trust disputes.
Other examples of Lizzie’s work include:
- Shareholder and director disputes.
- A broad and extensive range of Judicial Review challenges, including challenges to decisions of police forces and of the IPOC; of local authorities; and to government ministers regarding restrictions imposed during Covid-19 on behalf of key figures within the hospitality, nightlife and education sectors.
- Defamation cases, including acting for a former town Mayor and advising other high profile political figures.
- Breach of post-termination restrictive covenants, for which Lizzie has made and defended applications for urgent interim injunctions.
During her training, Lizzie was shortlisted for Trainee of the Year at the Manchester Legal Awards and gained recognition as a ‘Rising Star’ in the legal profession by Manchester Evening News.
