Lee is a highly experienced senior finance, HR and operations professional who has worked in the legal industry for over 30 years. Lee’s background focuses on legal finance. He held a senior accounting role in a ‘big four’ accountancy practice’s legal arm and spent over 10 years at a large US law firm in the city, latterly as European Finance Manager.
Lee retrained several years ago so that he could take on a broader practice management role and obtained the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development’s advanced diploma in human resources and people management. Lee has spent the last six years managing law firms both in and outside of the city. As Practice Director of Grosvenor Law, Lee is responsible for the day to day running of the firm, and compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations. Lee is the SRA-appointed Compliance Officer of Finance & Administration (COFA) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
Lee holds an advanced diploma in accounting with the Association of Accounting Technicians, of which he is a fellow member (FMAAT), an advanced diploma in human resources and people development with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, of which he is a chartered member (MCIPD), and a diploma with The Institute of Legal Finance and Management, of which he is a member. Lee is also a qualified PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner and holds all relevant Health & Safety qualifications including the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health managing safely certificate.
